Joel Noyce

I’m a passionate software engineer from Sheffield, UK, with a degree in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Manchester. I transitioned into a career as an engineer after falling deeply in love with programming. I’ve immersed myself in the Node and JavaScript ecosystem, which have significantly shaped my journey in tech.

At Moonfire, I lead the design and implementation of investor tools that integrate with our data-driven pipeline. My objective is to optimise and automate the process of finding exceptional founders, freeing up valuable time for our investors to quickly identify and assess the best opportunities.

Outside of work, I divide my time between chess matches, rock climbing sessions, long-distance hikes and deep dives into emerging technologies. I’m forever learning and building, and I'm committed to staying at the cutting edge of today’s tooling.
