Anneliese Turton

An Executive Assistant with experience across numerous industries, I ensure that Mattias and the rest of the Moonfire team have everything they need to foster the next generation of European startups.

I am Australian by birth but have been living in the UK since 2006. I graduated from Southern Cross University, Australia with a BA in Media & Liberal Arts after completing a Diploma in Advertising at Macleay College. Since jumping over to the other side of the globe, I have worked as an EA at the highest levels of several industries, including financial services, media, consulting and VC. Working in close proximity to and with founders, C-suite executives and Partners at organisations including HSBC, Bain & Company and BSkyB.

Most recently, I was an EA at Atomico for 6 years. It was here I first met Mattias, supporting him and a range of other senior managing partners. In June 2022, I joined Moonfire, working with Mattias and his new team at the earliest stages of venture capital. As part of a more compact team, I am integrated across all phases of the investment lifecycle, amplifying and accelerating Moonfire's mission, helping our internal team, incredible founders, and the European tech ecosystem.
